1.About this Cookies Notice
This Cookies Notice explains how PACKRUN (the “App”), operated by Pack Run Ltd (company number SC883554), uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Notice, which explains how we handle your personal data more generally.
PACKRUN is a mobile application available on iOS and Android. As a mobile app, it does not use traditional browser cookies in the way a website does. Instead, it relies mainly on secure on-device storage and a small number of similar technologies, described below. Cookies are encountered in two situations: (a) on our limited web pages (for example, account sign-in), and (b) on the secure payment page operated by our payment provider, Stripe, which opens when you make a booking.
2.What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include:
- Local / on-device storage — secure storage on your phone used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
- Software development kits (SDKs) — third-party tools built into the App to provide features such as payments and notifications.
We group these technologies by what they do: strictly necessary and — should we introduce them in future — analytics. We do not use advertising technologies.
3.The categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the App to operate and to keep it secure (for example, keeping you logged in, remembering your choices, and processing your payments). These cannot be switched off.
Analytics (statistical purposes)
We do not currently collect analytics data of any kind. If we introduce analytics in future, it would use only anonymous, aggregate information about how the App is used to improve it — never advertising analytics — and we would update this Notice and provide an easy opt-out.
Please note, our third-party service providers may use analytics cookies for statistical purposes as set out in section 4.3. They may collect anonymous, aggregate information about how the App is used to improve their services.
Advertising
We do not use advertising or third-party behavioural tracking technologies in the App.
4.What we actually use
4.1 On-device storage (mobile app)
The App stores the following on your device. Items marked “secure” are held in the device’s encrypted store (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).

4.2 Cookies on our web pages
Our limited web pages (for example, account sign-in) set the following first-party cookies, which are strictly necessary for sign-in and security:

4.3 Third-party services built into the App
The App uses a number of third-party services to provide core features, such as payments (Stripe), push notifications, and crash diagnostics. Some of these providers may set their own cookies or process data on their own systems; please refer to each provider’s own privacy and cookie policies. The providers we use may change from time to time.
4.4 Technologies we do NOT use
- No third-party analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics).
- No advertising or behavioural-advertising SDKs or ad networks.
- No social-media tracking pixels.
5.Your choices and consent
Strictly necessary cookies and storage do not require your consent, as the App cannot function securely without them. We do not currently use any cookies or technologies that require consent.
You can control certain technologies as follows:
- Cookies — If, after visiting our web pages (e.g. to log in), you do not want our cookies to be stored or accessed on your device, you can delete these from your browser.
- Push notifications — manage these in your device settings or within the App at any time.
- Location — grant or withdraw permission in your device settings.
- On-device data — clear the App’s data or uninstall the App to remove stored items.
6.Changes to this Cookies Notice
We may update this Cookies Notice from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you in advance in accordance with our Terms of Service.
